Specific

Measurable

Achievable

An achievable goal is one that is realistic and attainable. It is within your reach and capabilities. An achievable goal challenges you but does not overwhelm you. It also helps you avoid disappointment or frustration.

Relevant

Time-bound

A time-bound goal is one that has a specific deadline or timeframe. It creates a sense of urgency and commitment. A time-bound goal helps you prioritize your actions and manage your time. It also helps you avoid procrastination or delay.

For example, an open-ended goal would be “I want to read more books”. A time-bound goal would be “I want to read one book per week for the next three months”.
